i really hope that we as a country can one day get to the point where someone can be rightfully terminated from a position without having the action termed "political victimization" ... this has gone on long enough, and we're not getting anywhere with the country's infrastructure in the meantime!!

How many chances should Bahamians get? Why not give murderers and rapists second chances.Don't they have families too? Why can't we be sensitive to them? While we at it, the private sector should be lambasted for firing people who steal, are insubordinate, or fail in ways that hurt the organization.Let us pass a law that says nobody can fire anyone, for any reason. Would the apologists support this?

:footmouth Boy perry sure could chat on sunday or do you think he bold on sundays because none of the other fellas around.
Because for the genaral of a party he sure don't have nothing solid to say out in public,Nottage those are showing the balls and even some of them don't have any.
Also isn't it an organization right to terminate anyone but has to make sure they are compensated to the fullest of the law.

It is interesting to note that the former PM did not find it to be a lack of sensitivity when Mrs. Thompson was fired from the Registrar General position.

I am of the view that the former PM is desperately seeking any means to remain in the headlines in a bid to save his post as leader of the PLP! ( that is just my personal opinion)

to that I say his attempts are futile because he is finished!

If you left if up to Christie, every friggin idiot would run the goverment and civil service amuck, because he's too "sensitive" to do what needs to be done and say what needs to be said. That is why he took so long to do downright anything, and that is why the people "fix" him!

not saying that the fnm were any better at all ... just hoping that we could move past this sort of mindset.
