Will be moving to Nassau next year, what can I expect? I have never even visited there.
Bring it on friends, I will miss my Grand Bahama Island with all my heart :(

Biggity means overly proud (most Bahamians are biggity, LOL!)

Nassau is crowded, but it really depends on what part on Nassau you guys live in what your quality of life will be.

Nassau has some beautiful cultural and historical landmarks. New Year's Junkanoo is a thing of shear beauty.

Get ready for TRAFFIC. Nassau is not as bad as everyone says but it is congested. As with any area with a good amount of people it is wise to "protect Ya Tings" and be aware of your surroundings, common sense is all that is required.

What can you expect? I think you can expect to have a great adventure. Sure, there is much more traffic in Nassau, more crime but with a bit of luck and careful planning you should be OK. We all talk hard about Nassau, but few move away! :)

I would suggest that you and your husband plan a week-end trip to Nassau - look around, get a feel for the place. You can't see everything but it would be worth the trip. :hammer:

Property can be replaced, your life cannot - thats what bars are for.
