Well the scale will register the water in your stomach, but if you have healthy kidneys, pure water should move through your urinary system in 45-one hour.
(That's if you aren't dehydrated and are drinking and not eating).
Do you ankles or fingers swell (edema)?

Nah man. LOL...
If anything I think my fingers are losing weight. My rings keep sliding off!

What I am saying is that you must have the right stuff inside as well as out. 2 prong approach. Tight taught skin requires at the very minimum liquid hydration. It will repair the skin at the cellular level, creams and stuff help on the surface. Water weight is the first weight to go it should not stick around unless you are eating rather unhealthy. Like eating high sodium foods may cause a person to retain water. If drinking alot of water is new to you you may retain a little because your body was starved for it, dehydrated but once in the habit it it will regulate, and if you are working out really hard than you will sweat it out.

Cool. I think I have hunkered down to about 93-95 kilos; 207-210lbs. I just want to tighten it up.

I wanted to get to 100 kilos a few months back, and I though keeping under that would have been to hard. But, I not only got under 100 kilos, but it happened when I was not even looking for it to happen; I think I had missed a few days at the gym, and all of a sudden, BANG...98 kilos and it kept on getting trimmer ever since.

I missed most of last week, and only made the gym this last weekend, and it maintained at 94 kilos where I had left off. I think I have crossed the hurdle, it's just that this loose skin is killin me!
:sparky:

I may try the creams......in fact, I am going to look for some, and, try to isolate my pecs and love handles a bit more. I think I need to focus on them when I hit the gym.

But, thank you all for the help and I will keep that in mind. In fact, we all should!

Unfortunately, the only way to lose a lot of sagging skin is surgery. If you are young, you have a chance of doing it with exercise but not much of one. You can do sit-up until the cows come home, it will do no good - once you pass the late thirties.

Well. Why when I get on the scales when I drink a glass of water, the scale goes off the richter?
I can't drink a glass of water and not gain about 2 pounds...it's that bad. In fact, sometimes I scare myself on the scale. Like for example, I can start out at 93 kilos when I start my work out, and then can be up to 96-97 kilos by the end of it.
I don't get that at all...

If you are gonna get on the scale I suggest you do it at the same time every day, I like early morning, I am usually the lightest then :bouncy: , but midday you will typically weigh the most(food and water still in your tummy), and average person will differ between 2-3 lbs throughout the day DO NOT BE ALARMED the scales most people have are not accurate anyway. Just use it as a guide to keep you on track, if you see it continually going up over the course of a few days then hit the gym, I have a scale that measures my body fat % and it will register the water also if I have just drinken something.

Well congrats on the weight loss, believe me I know it is a struggle. I have 20 lbs to lose, and I am at my plateau and it is really rough right now.

You can always get a trainer at a gym. You can try cosmetic surgery or steriods (would not recommend steroids though).

No STEROIDS!!!!!! You will puff up,bad skin, and shrunken you know whats down there...plus it can make you infertile. Try skim milk, lots and lots of water, exercise, vitamins, and as a last resort surgery. Skin will stretch to about 50% of it's original form before it will not "spring back". Many reps with low weights can also be very helpful too. Stay away from salt, carbs, starches (fries etc), and go for lean proteins. No eating after 6 pm and watch fluid intake as coffee (with cream), soda, liquor will all keep weight on or add to it. If you see stretch marks than your skin has definitely been stretched too far and surgery is probably the only way to address the issue, but the other tips will get you in prime shape for procedure

Congrats on your weight loss :)
You should try a trainer on the island.........
Since being on the Island, I've hired a trainer who trains with me 3 times a week and the rest I finish @ Bally 's .......
5am every morning (this morning, the rain came down fast ), watching the Sunrise each morning, after a vigorous workout is sooooooo REWARDING...............
Swimming is also considered a good " workOut " this will tighten up your body..........

Best of luck, you'll reach your GOAL 4 sure :)
" Is there a " Walking Group " on the Island or any sort of Drop in sports? I miss playing Volleyball & Netball .......
