You won't be able to do anything after you load it. The industry has mostly rejected Vista.

I second that. Vista lasted about 3 weeks on my Mac.

sorry havent really used Vista "yet" .. I do have to very soon though, as my clients are now. My mother was able to get in though without my assist, on her new laptop (which I reloaded with XP afterwards!).

What exactly is the problem. Is it a new PC, and is it asking for a key? If so, you need to get that Key from the PC, or the booklets that came with it; then enter that into the box .

Rorry I can't do nothing with my computer.
All it keep saying is put in product key , some phone sytem or buy product key online
But when I try to put it the product i have it says it's not valid.

yes it's new & I try all of that but still nothing.

Yup, im going to put it on a second PC and keep my main one as is .. only use it for client support, the ones that keep it on their PCs that is. :D

Question, is this a new PC, or have you been using it with Vista for a while now? Is it a custom built PC, or a brand name, and where did you buy it from (US/Locally)?

well someone bought for me f it rom the us. I order it november paid for from january & got it in july.

And rory I am try everything what they tell in the book & NOTHING IS WORKING AT ALL.

You would need to format and load XP setup. But you need to either have a CD yourself, or have someone do that for you that has the CD and knows how to. The next problem will be getting the drivers for the PC, as many brands designed for Vista have issues in that area, it took me 2 weeks to locate drivers that worked on XP, for a Gateway Laptop that was designed for Vista; took me less than a couple hours to get an HP up and running though, so it depends entirely on the model and make, if its a laptop, it makes it slightly more difficult than a desktop.
