I think all of the P.L.P M.P's need anger management sessions.

Gray Warns Ferguson
Published: Thursday September 13th, 2007
MICAL MP, the Hon. V. Alfred Gray drew a line in the sand for FNM Chairman Johnley Ferguson to cross last night during his short address at the Speakers and Issues Forum.

Updating the crowd of several hundred packed into Charlie's Place, Mr. Gray spoke on his recent meetings in Grand Bahama with the PLAN. He expressed how impressed and moved he was to see young Bahamians from all walks of life coming together to fight for what they believe in. Mr. Gray also took time out to outline the FNM's continued practice of cruel and uncaring victimizations in the Family Islands, particularly his area.

In explaining the PLP's vision for the school in Salina Point Acklins, Mr. Gray told the audience that the way that area is set up geographically, all it would take is a category 2 or higher storm to approach from the south and Salina Point Acklins would be no more. The PLP's school plan was to be built some 30 feet above sea level on the highest point in the community to prevent flooding. The complex was intended to be the focal point of the community but according to FNM Chairman, Johnley Ferguson, it was too good for the people. Mr. Gray passionately challenged Johnley Ferguson to go to Salina Point and tell the same thing to the people there and see how they feel about him.

V. Alfred Gray also took time out to address the fact that Johnley Ferguson seemed confused over where his authority ends as Chairman of the FNM. He reminded the FNM Chairman that his duties do no include speaking for the government and as a two time loser, Ferguson should know when to speak and when to shut up. When questions are put to the Government, it is not Ferguson's place to speak.

Mr. Gray got the crowd on its feet when he promised "something special for his cousin Johnley" whenever the house opens.

The Speakers and Issues Forum will return week after next and new speakers will be scheduled. To see photos of last night's Forum, you can go to our galleries section.

I don't comment on politics and all, but I am surprised that persons seemed shocked at what Bahamian politicians say. I honestly pay politicians no mind at all.

And you should be even more shocked, as to why are these people only looking at the minority in the house, when they in fact don't affect any policy.

I think the FNM are hiding something, and we need to keep looking at what's going on in the house.

They gat some big dumb plans they started off on, and none of them to do with the Bahamian welfare; one of which is WTO.

These liars in the media, the papers to the radio to these political plants online, are deleterious to the Bahamian welfare and I wish they would STOP, because, they can suck up to the FNM all they wish, but you do not have to sell your brothers and sisters out for pennies to the dollar, just to be a bag man for some idiot in a suit.

Have some guts FNM...or at least a thought for anyone else but what the PLP is doing for just one minute.

WTO
Civil Service firings
Immigration audit
Urban Renewal re-structure
The politisization of the police force
The lack of a plan for education....
Contract re-call without a clear method...

All suck!

These things damage our state, and, do not allow these power hungry politicians, to take bread off of the table for all of us, because you want to look like good little boys and girls to them. You do not have to like everything they do.....it is your right.

Garnello,

I think all of them are a little touched in the head, PLP and FNM alike.

I think the FNM have lost it to be quite honest. They can't shut off the hate machine. White and black FNMs.....they just can't let the hate go off of PLPs. IKt's so bad that people like Arthur Foulkes, have been cast in place to re-write his own brand of history and independence, with the FNM at centre stage; like LOP and the rest were not even there, or, they were mere footnotes.

He allways has a "good answer" to make his party look good at all cost. Needless to say at the risk of his integrity and reputation as anyone with a sound mind.

Men like him should not even grace out airwaves, let alone be in charge of anything tangible about our state!

You can't be serious. I'm almost certain you meant to type PLP.

Wasn't it a PLP MP that was in Parliament debating the budget and stated that "If you ask someone why they voted FNM they wouldn't be able to tell you"?

Wasn't it Madame Maynard Gibson who ranted on for hours in the Senate about the founding of the PLP and Independence during the senate contribution?

Wasn't it a former PLP MP who it can be confirmed literally 'fell out' after she found out she lost her seat and had to be sent to the hospital?

Wasn't it Fred Mitchell, who is still under the illusion that he his foreign minister touring about how the PLP are against official government decisions?

Wasn't it Perry Christie who told people to wear their PLP shirt just incase they plan another unnecessary public display of ignorance?

Wasn't it V Alfred Grey who talked about the developments of his constituency before PLP rally and afterwards in the House talk about all the 'work' that needs to be done?

Is it not PLP that are still anticipating an election in when….hahaha oh yeah 16 months?

and above every thing else....

Is it not the PLP who is going to ELECTION of fraud they themselves committed?

Seriously man, get a grip. Ever since May 2nd 2007 the majority of PLP MPs and supporters went into a server state of depression and have literally become delusional.

These recent events the Foxhill's MP and the garbage they promote on their site proves it.

I can only pray that this summer, they let politics go, spent some time with their families and are actually ready to be the opposition and debate the ISSUES of this Nation as oppose to acting like children that have just gotten a candy stolen.
