A senior police official announced Tuesday that at least seven murder suspects were arrested in New Providence earlier in the day in connection with unsolved murders in 2007.

Congratulagtions to the police, and the citizens who gave up valuable tips!

Whilst we critize officers who let the force down, we must remember that the majority of our policemwn are dedicated and doing a good job.

They deserve our praise and encouragement, just as Greenslade deserves to keep the gifts given to him in Freeport.

Greenslades is a sitting ACP in a police force that has consitutional authority to act as AN AMRY in cases of need.

I don't care how nice he is, common sense should have prevailed. Imagine giving the Jr. Deputy of the FBI a gift when he moved to Sr Deputy because "we liked him?"

If Freeport cared for Greenslades they should have looked out for his reputation and put the money in a trust available for him at his retirement.

The next time somebody gives an MP a gift, "because they like him" I hope yinna remember this.
