Sharpton and Jesse FINALLY earning their salt. They know how to fight blatant injustice, and now, I think I see why they respond as they do. But, they still race bait to a large extent.

Well, I would agree. The "justice" handed out to the Jena 6 was too heavy handed.

it wasnt so much about jesse or sharpton; black bloggers, other radio one personalities as ballentine and baisden did a lot...I think Black America has turned a tide.

One can only ascertain the thought that we Bahamians can learn from this and take a stand together in solidarity for what ails us...

For a school-yard fight, they should have gotten a suspension at the very least if it was a first offence.

What went on in Jena was more than wrong, and all people involved should PUNISH this prosecutor, like how the North Carolina Attorney Nifong has been sent to JAIL for calling a "false report" for those idiots in Duke.

Now, why can't the public justice system work like this now in Jena....

from the actions yesterday of the judge who refused to recuse himself from the case or give the young man bail lets me know that the federal govt has to step in: I wish I was in DC next week(CBC week- what a joyous occassion it will be) the judge, the prosecutor, the DA, the US Attorney- all need to lose their jobs and go before an ethics hearing of the LA bar- you cant rationalize nor compartmentalize what happen to those kids. Im just gld Black America handled their **** and go together.

Wow! you and Alien cant take yes for an answer can you? I made it very clear that the sentences given those lads was outrageous. So did most of the press before Sharpton and Jackson jumped on the band-wagon.
