I need help!

I have friends and family coming to visit, wanting to visit Nassau for Boxing Day. This will be my first Christmas Junkanoo. My Guest list has grown longer than my Apartment can hold, so I am needing advise on decent hotels.
One of the problems that we have run into is that we can not find consectutive day stays at the hotels we are looking at. 2 days here, 2 days there type stuff. I found some lesser known hotels, and smaller places, but I am scared to have family book there and it be a terrible place to stay. If any one knows of places to look please let me know.

El Greco?
Graycliff?
Pelican Beach?
Arawak Inn?
Towne hotel?
Orange hill?
Clarion resort?
Or any others

Any Ideas and help would be much appreciated/

I would suggest Towne hotel. It is just a stone throw away from town and as safe a place to stay as any.

Graycliff is beautiful but very expensive.

Arawak Inn is cheap and cheerful and owned by a member of BI but a way out of town by Arawak Cay

El Greco is not bad and has good coffee and stuff in the reception area at breakfast time. It is west of the Colonial Hilton on the way out of town.

Orange Hill is way out west almost to the airport and transportation might be a problem.

Haven't stayed at the Towne for a while, it was getting a bit run-down the last time I was there.

You could also check out the Mignon guest house on Market Street or Dillettes Guest House

How about the Nassau Beach Hotel?
I think there is also one right next to Harbour Bay Shopping Center, cant remember the name though.

Diletts Guest House, my favourite place to stay in Nassau, is no longer operating as a lodging place. They have turned themselves into an artist's colony or something. You rent their rooms by the month if you come to the Bahamas to paint, draw, sculpt, write poems, or a satirical political blog.

Thanks everyone, Everyone staying at the Towne hotel and Quality Inn for the first 2 nights, because of proximity to downtown, and transportation. Then to the casinos it is for the weekend, I sure hope it works out.

One more Question.

Nice places in Eleuthera, Harbour Island. Want to go see the pink sand beach for a weekend. Places to stay? Things I should do? Any suggestions, or must see things?
