That brings up an interesting question, what exactly is helping your country - to you I mean? (Anyone else can answer too.)
I see helping as anything that adds value- social, moral or financial value.

No it doesn't.
Many who live outside the country have more investments and influence working INSIDE the country than people realise.
You can get the big boys to take your call when their secretary tells them Chicago or Dallas or NYC or LA or Boston or Miami or London or Toronto is on the phone.
They hem and haw when taking calls from the same person in the office down the way.

don't give USA all the credit.
There are Bahamians all up in Canada, Britian, France, Spain, Germany, elsewhere in Europe, Australia, India, maybe somewhere around the Phillipines, and probably even a few in Japan.
In every country you can find competent, motivated, and educated people who originated in another country far far away.

Or Paris or Sydney or Melbourne or Chennai or Mumbai or Kula Lampur or Hong Kong or Berlin or Munich or Copenhagen or Valencia or Moscow or Denver or Dubai or Abu Dhabi or Jeddah or Riyadh or Omaha or Seattle or Portland...
(I had to shorten my original list... hehehe)
