"Criminals in The Bahamas today have no regards for law and order and they will kill you and anybody else in the presence of hundreds of people and expect that at the end of the day, you [will] keep your mouth shut and say nothing about it," said Officer-In-Charge of the Central Detective Unit, Glen Miller.
At a press conference held yesterday to update the public on the number of homicides that have occurred in the country so far, Miller pointed to an incident that occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Sports Center before hundreds of people.
Eighteen-year-old Mardio Hall, a graduate of the CV Bethel Senior High School was gunned down in July near the Queen Elizabeth Sports Center.
Miller also warned of the intimidation of witnesses.

It should worry everyone

I worried sick. Don't even like to go out after dark.
From home, to work and back. What a sad way to live.

hmmm...we beginning to sound like a few other places (down south) where criminals can kill someone in full view of public and no one does anything because the community is so used to it.

Cultural influence indeed.

Wait a sec... Scratch that. Can't say such things because it's politically incorrect. :taped2:

...despite the fact that it's true and is one of the reasons we have people flocking to our shores.
