Did anyone watch "Joseph Campbell and the Power of Myth" on PBS channel 13, today August 8, 2004? If you did, what did you think of what he had to say?

He was my teacher. Not that I sat before him, but I read all his books and listened to his audio lectures.

I don't think so. He does believe in "higher powers" (so to speak).
I believe the last time I heard a teaching by this man he was talking about religions and their gods. He talked as if they were all equal like the teachings of the Bahá'í Faith that believe all religions lead to Heaven.

Actually, he is dead! So I guess you can say he is practicing no religion at the moment. Though he did believe in a higher power, a power that is manifested in many different places and times.

When he was alive, he was a teacher of Religion and Mythology. He went on to write a number of books about the meaning of religions, faith, and how to understand the mythical forms that are common in all beliefs.
