The Bahamas Hotel Employers Association (BHEA) said it was surprised that the Bahamas Hotel Catering and Allied Workers Union was threatening to take strike action against BHEA members, a move which has the potential of crippling the tourism industry...
If a strike is called, several hotel properties including the Cove, Atlantis, Royal Towers, Coral Towers, Britannia Towers, The One and Only Ocean Club; Sheraton Cable Beach Resort, Wyndham Nassau Resort and Crystal Palace Casino, Nassau Beach, Lyford Cay Club, British Colonial Hilton and the Towne Hotel, would be affected.
