Is he refreshing or what!?!?

I don't know what happened to him over the last year, but my goodness when you listen to what he has to say, you get all the messages you need.

I like his view now....even though I heard about his challenges with his private life, and the very open spat with his wife; which the punch had for sport.

But, he is "listenable"...hehehehe....

Just a way to use a word to bring the topic back up to the top of the search page, hence, "bump" as in "bumped up".

I think Licks uses it from another reason.

Bumping is typically a breach of netiquette, and frowned upon by most forum moderators; on the forum where I am a mod, if anyone was to bump a thread, their post would get deleted. If they originally started the thread and it had no useful replies it also would get deleted, and in some cases, the member would get banned.

We have no posts with bad language, no friction, etc, people learn quick. BUT, thats not our biggest challenge, most are professionals, the challenge is coming from the Chinese Manufacturers, they love to come on the forum and post a bunch of Chinglish advertising their products, which we do not allow for anyone from anywhere; we have banner ads for that. New members need 25 posts or a certain amount of days before they can post links or PM another member.

The Chinese are catching on now though, they go around the forum posting replies to existing threads which have nothing to do with the thread, such as "That must be great" or simply "Yes", just to get their post count up .. sneaky very sneaky. There are some good members from China though, that contribute alot, they had alot of threads and posts deleted in the beginning but eventually realized what was up and to stay on board they are following the rules, as we all have to. I even posted a thread with the rules in Chinese, Spanish, and Korean. Also see my sig. :D

And oh yeah for those that say I am stereotyping or generalizing, I dont care, that is how it is, I have their IP Addresses, and I know exactly where the user is coming from, most of the IPs being used are on world wide block lists for Spam, and most, 99.99999999% are from china. I delete threads and posts every single day now.

Yes we are harsh, we are tough, but there is a reason for that.
And incase you wondered, I have 13,000 posts on that forum.
