He added that not only do the majority of homosexuals in the country not share Ms. Green’s view, but the vast majority of them are not calling for special rights or recognition, and are certainly not interested in same-sex marriage.

concurrently nor does he or his "council" represent the views of all christians in the bahamas....his premise is ridiculous....the issue here isnt popularity...but rather justice....and fairness

The Council said it was not aware of the number of pornography channels that appear on Cable Bahamas, but it finds them reprehensible as well.

Its so interesting that they speak of a gay agenda....but yet whenever the issue of homosexualit arises it is the same TIRED OLD faces in opposition....same person's with a save the family crusade thatobviously solicits funding ( i. e "tithes" and other forms of sponsorship...not to mention the constant spotlight that they seem to crave....) seems more like theyre the ones with an agenda to me...

Tad - you hit the nail on the head! Where are these idiots (bcc) prioritys. This country is paying dearly in lives because of the REAL scocial ill's that affect us I.E. single parents, incest, sweethearting, rape, intolerance, drugs, and low levels of education. These money/attention whores(bcc) are so out of touch with the bahamian public and the REAL threats to our country that they have rendered themselves almost irrelevant. I think they replaced that lineup channel on The BCC members cable systems with TBN reruns.

If these pastors would spend as much time fighting adultery, fornication and other sorts of sin and common immorality as they do fighting the 'gay agenda' then maybe this Bahamas would be a better place.......hmmm but then again I guess that would go hand in hand with "let he without sin cast the first stone"
