I was reflecting back on the good ole days when things were so different,
Can each person on BI post something they remember from back then, I will start it of.

Remember when all the Government schools use to sell something they call MILK BISCUITS. These tasted like baby formula, they were in small hard squares and came in packs of 10 or 12 they had to be kept refrigerated. I think they came from England and were suppose to be given to the students to help supplement their calcium intake.

Nobody I asked remember these, someone here please tell me you remember this, I know I ain't crazy I loved those biscuits! And would pay for some right now.

I know I ain that young, neither that old.

I remember the Sir Milo Butler books and those thick black pencils with no rubber.

I remember when sunny delight had those little small juice in the small plastic container.

I remember having a big blue plastic lunch tin that came with a thermos and my brother had the tin one with superman and wonder woman on it.

WoW! are you serious?
Is it just INFLATION or just supply and demand?

If only we could turn back the pages of time to those gas prices in the Bahamas!

Well I am not that old but I remember when we had no cable tv, just antenna on the roof. I remember when I could walk to all the beaches on PI without any strife. I remember catching the eleuthera express to eleuthera for $20.

I remember those milk biscuits. They smelled like when a baby threw up formula and it dried on their clothes!!! (Sorry Goddess!! But that's how I remember them!!) We paid 10 cents a week for them. I was allergic to milk so I didn't have to eat them!!!!!!
I also remember the Milo books. I made my son laugh by telling him how we didn't have backpacks in our day. Those plastic Baygon bags toted many-a-book to school on this island!!! My younger brother and sisters had those metal lunch tins with characters on the front and the thermos. I remember wanting a pack of 64 crayons soooooooooooo bad to get the silver and gold colors. I don't think I ever got it!
Does anyone remember the chocolate milk in tins made by carnation? OMG! That was the best!
Oh Lord, I'm old!!!
