No Delroy is not a thread cop. He's asking an intelligent question. I started this thread because I was shocked and amazed at the lack of supervision of some of the teens that were hanging out in this club I went to while I was there. They were drinking and dancing right along with the adults and no one seemed to care. Now I'm shocked and amazed by the immaturity and lack of respect that some of you are showing each other on this message board. In the infamous words of Rodney King, "can't we all just get along".
There can't be love without respect. but there can be respect without love.
A better way to put it ...
If you can't love one another, can't you at least respect each other?

Y2KBad,
I think you're a person who likes to keep up mess and I will not stoop to your level of immaturity.

Anyway, getting back to the topic of this thread. I can't believe how fast last year passed by. It's time for me to book my return trip already! I will be in Nassau the last weekend in May and would like your input on a nice place to hang out without the presence of a gang of teenagers. I like to dance but not necessarily all night. Is there a nice place to just sit and listen to some good music with an older crowd?

now back to your question....
yes there is!
i can naver remember the names of the places in nassau...cause they change so frequently the ownership, but, there is the poop deck, johny canoe and a host of other restaurants in the crystal palace and the raddison...
there is a host of others over p.i.....
you just have to be with a person who knows.....
:)
i know it doesnt help much....but, at least i tried.

I'll be staying on Bay St. Are these places easily accesible by taxi? My friends and I have different taste in clubs so I may be going to these places alone. Thanks for the info.
Hello Sugar
I know this thread is a bit old -but thought I would write something as you are coming out at the end of next month. I second the recommendation of Villlagio - but it is a way from Bay street - so for a more lively friday night out you could go to the bar upstairs in the Hilton (Blue Note?) - there is an afterwork party there on a friday with a fixed entry fee (like 10 bucks I think) and this includes your drinks (limited hours - but starts early) - with music etc. For a late nightclub you could go to Waterloo - its a taxi ride - but not too far - has a couple of bars with different music. There is also the Fluid Lounge on Bay street.
have fun!
ps enjoyed the aimless chat (somewhere off the topic of nightclubs.!) on the way to this posting....
