If anyone hasn't yet, I would suggest you all read this article in the Washington Post by Mike Wise: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A36690-2004Aug26.html

The title of the article is: "Forget U.S. Team; Bahamas Rules"
He made some really good points that we all should be proud of.

I really like that article

I remember reading that article last year. And I remember reading something like that in 2000 siince the Bahamas had the highest amount of medals per captia then.

BTW Tonique just won the gold at the Prefontaine Classic. The number one female 400m runner has extended her win streak to about 7 in a row dating back to last year. It may be more to tell you the truth.

Go Bahamas and congrats to Tonique.

[COLOR=Orange]I AM SO PROUD OF TONIQUE!!!
It does my heart good to see my fellow GIANT :D doin big things on the world scene. Not only has Tonique put The Bahamas on the map, sheput St. John's College there as well. It is the work of educators such as Arlene Nash-Ferguson, Fr. Harry Ward, Canon Dudley Strachan that helped to mold and shape old scholars like myself to be world class leaders.
Keep it up Tonique, for the GIANTS are watching you and we wish you well!!!
