The first incident took place around 12:45 a.m. Police reported that a male had just arrived home from work when two men in a red Honda vehicle robbed him of cash, a cell phone, and a hand chain. They then sped off.

Shortly before 3:00 a.m. two men in a red Honda robbed another male who was closing his gate after arriving home. Culprits stole a wallet which contained cash. The robbers then sped off in the red Honda.

Meanwhile a married couple were relieved of cell phones and a pack of cigarettes by two (2) thieves as they arrived home around 3:00 a.m.. The robbers exited a white car and ran in the direction of the couple. The thieves then returned to their car and sped off.

I heard that the persons in the red Honda are serial robbers. They are reported by the police, to have been involved in numerous robberies over the last few weeks.

I don't know if it's the same Honda, but the police apparently seem to think so.

Alas, Christmas time is approaching. We will probably see more of this as the season gets nearer.

You all need to attend the Neighbour Hood police Town meetings in your area. let them know where you live so they could have an eye for you.

This is no joke things are heating up.

Many persons are without electricity due to the high cost of electricity, without water.......without food......without jobs.....cars getting repossesed.....some without home....there are a lot of persons living in their cars and on the street.

People are getting desperate...on Thursday the day before the holiday there were at least four armed robberies in the space of two hours...A good friend of mine was shot in her mouth........her entire payroll was taken .

Guys this is serious...take precautions......get cards......avoid atms during weird hours...be alert......secure your home properly.........educate your children to safety rules...... notice details....license plate numbers...car color and makes........stray persons strangers in your communities...get to know your neighbours.......identify your property with numbers and markings...keep receipts of major applicances or watches camaras and other electronic items

I called 919 once, on a weeknight, just after dark. It took me close to fifeteen minutes of redials before I got through.

Called them at the time of 2 accidents, 6am and 3am, 2 different incidents, and the numbers didnt exist. Cops could not even get through, one had to drive his car to the hospital to ask for an ambulance to be sent.

people just need to take more precautions

always be aware of your surroundings (are u being followed? are there strange people in the bushes)

try not to come home late hours. if u must call the person in the house and let them know ur in the drive way. install motion lights in you drive way and door way. get a timer to put on a lamp in your living room so ur house istnt in darkness when u open the door. key all your locks to one key, so u dont have to switch keys when opening ur door.

when coming home in late hours dont linger in ur driveway or car. before u arrive home have everything u want to take out of the car with u (bible, purse, movie) whatever it is. leave big items in the car until morning (by the way before leaving ur destination put big items in the truck)

one of the best securities is having a dog or dogs, they know when something aint right before u do.

lastly if ur not travelling abroad on a regular basis keep only one credit card, ur license, ur ATM card, and less than 100 bucks in cash in ur walet.

the less u keep in their the less u will have to recover.

keep safe nassuvians
