Yes, and a minister of the previous government resigned, and we have a new government now (cant say they are much better but either way it is still somewhat different). If Howard Stern is coming back and forth then that is legal, as we can do from here to the US. We had all the discussions on Anna Nicole Smith when it happened, most thought she was also here to get away from her baby daddy or something, and personally living in homeboys house I thought that was a bunch of crap, get him out and kick him out already. But then I dont know the ins and outs as have not seen any legal docs and am not involved with the case or anyone to do with it, so thats as far as my opinion goes on the whole thing. I have no hate or love towards anyone involved, I dont know any of them.

Anyway, as already mentioned, its not big news to us, currently as far as it goes it is really just additional entertainment. :D

We have our own REAL problems to deal with here, just as they do in the US.

I am new here, just wanted to say hi, and I love the Bahamas and all the Bahamians. I have been to Nassau once, Paradise Island once and Freeport 24 times, and will be back again.

I want to say to Lincoln, I enjoyed seeing you on Greta and Geraldo, and am very happy to see Rita exposed. It is about time one of our arrogant media were put in their place, I have been waiting a long time to see that happen.

The wonderful people from Aruba got used and abused by our media, and they just took it and didn't fight back, but I knew the Bahamians would fight back.

The next happy day I will be awaiting will be the day Howard K Stern gets deported or jailed, whichever comes first. I know you want to talk about other more important things affecting your Island, but I wanted to take this opportunity to voice my opinion to all of you, since I first found out about this site, from the posters on TMZ.com. I am sure when others from that site find you they will be sending spys here to pump you for information. That is so funny as it only proves they don't know Bahamians. You are all one step ahead, which I knew you would be.

yes anna had bottles of methadone at the horizons house.

Um, methadone is not illegal; the issue was that the prescription was not legitimate. The prescription that the doctor in the US provided to her. She had a prescription for the drugs, therefore nothing was suspected until after she died.

and yes, something happened.
howie supposedly went to wendys for some snacks for the three of them (not sure what anna would be eating, since right after a c-section, its a little HARD to eat solid foods) but anyways, there was a wendys cup in the background of pictures taken at the hosp. BEFORE daniel died.
the speculation is that anna liked to "mask the taste" of the methadone in her drinks. Maybe she had her drugs in the cup and Daniel - with out knowing - took a drink from her cup.
That drink along with his prescribed lexapro put him over the top. OD'd from that. it was reported (fox news) that howie flushed something down the toilet.

OK, and what was the crime here? IF Daniel drank the drink with Anna's medication in it, it was an accident. It only becomes a problem because the
Methadone was obtained with an illegitimate prescription. If there was a crime committed, it was done by the doctor in the US, who prescribed the methadone for Anna.

The embarassment falls on the US for having doctors who provide fake prescriptions in return for $$$, risking the life of their patients, and other innocent people.

There's nothing fishy, it was determined soon afterwards that the home apparently did not belong to her and that her citizenship was fasttracked. The government official resigned from his post, and the matter came to an end.

Anna running from her baby's daddy is not a crime. Fasttracking citizenship is not a crime - but the necessary requirements weren't adhered to, creating a problem. Howard is not commiting a crime by visiting back and forth between the US and The Bahamas.

The problem is that many Americans like to make $$$ off of other people's tragedies. They feed off of it and like to make news out of it. That's just how America operates. Look at Nancy Grace, Greta, Bill O'Reily, etc. They feed off of tragedies and beat it to death, as long as they can , to get as much $$$ as they can get out of it for the news stations. It's sickening, and they should all be shameful for their actions.

I'm a fan of Lincoln...seeing that I live in New York I can provide some insight as to why the author choose that ridiculous gay angle to slur Lincoln; anybody who follows the media fells that most Bahmaians are homophobic, in New York you are judged by how you dress, and well Lincoln looks like a sloppily dressed black gay man, with the extra large suit draped around him, the bright green collar **** with the chest hair sticking out and the crazy hairdo--around here that is kinda gay...it's wrong but that's the image he is projecting...and lastly black men in new york don't do gossip ya dig, that is the territory of white gay men....seeing that lincoln is a millionare the next time he travels to the NYC he should visit Pat Paul first or stop by the Hugo Boss store on 5th ave.
