They mentioned the KIPP program I talked about months ago.

I think it would be PERFECT for the Bahamas.

There was something on one of the US news channels last night about Kipp schools and they looked brilliant! Mind you, long hours for both teachers and students and LOTS of dedication but the results were amazing!

I am trying to raise the money to start a free KIPP school in Freeport.

More people in the public school system calling in and making excuses.

It could easily be acceptable for anyone with mediocrity as a standard way of life!

Sunnyjohn, you have done everything under the sun as far as employment. Your knowledge is extensive.

Anyway, My cousin attends a KIPP in Houston, these kids who come through there are so bright, well rounded, Social skills through the roof. Teens and even Pre-teens speaking better than most adults in public settings.

I hope you can get the money together, because KIPP has figured it out. they are handing the keys to these childrens future through their program.

Thanks. I kinda "fell" into teaching, just like practically every job I've had. LOL! I think God gets a kick out of putting me in odd situations! hehehe

Keep talking about the KIPP program to people you know.


That will make it easier for us to get approvals from key people in the Bahamas and raise the money.
