You will never stop people from killing and eating them. What we need is a commercial breeding program, like turtle farm at Boatswain's Beach in Cayman

I remember it having a distinctive taste. chewy- I might be getting this and deer confused- forgive me.

Have you ever seen a turtle killed for a meal. I witnessed it once...they slit the throat but the animal still screams a horrific noise and I swear those eyes were sheading tears...The flippers still work feverously without the benefit of the head. It is totally barbaric and should be reserved for the last meal of survival.

Why not just say "no taking of turtles" there are plenty of other product the sea has to offer.

I am an American and eat everything from the sea here. Go push your American ways someplace else. This is The Bahamas.
