If there was an NBA franchise team in Freeport, would you travel from Nassau or the Family Islands for games?

Would you buy season tickets?

How much would you spend ?

a bad idea...you know how much it cost to build an arena to host the games?
shouldnt we be promoting aquatic sports (sailing, rowing, water polo) and trying to get sponsorship for the first Bahamian team who will inevitably win the America's Cup or some other big regatta?

try to help me understand where you're coming from please sunny, because from my vantage point I feel this is a waste of money adding to the 40 million dollar slave disease (http://www.randomhouse.com/crown/catalog/display.pperl?isbn=9780609601204).

Water polo isn't even culturally Bahamian.
More people play basketball than criket and sailing combine.
Looks like a project for the chinese though...
What's the delay...we need more chinese money in the Bahamas.
Cause its obvious that them 'merican fellas don't want invest in our sporting facilities.

Well, if they have door prizes and a junkanoo rush out before and after, we could fill an area every 4 to 5 months or so. sux teeth at our small population conflicting with our big ideas.
