Joe Baboon 11-12-07, - 10:13 AM No, not near the Embassy. The worlds shortest thread! There are a number. The Holiday Inn Junkanoo Beach, The Towne Hotel, the Grand Central Hotel. None are as nice as the Hilton, but still easily within walking distance. Shakita 11-12-07, - 10:17 AM There are a number. The Holiday Inn Junkanoo Beach, The Towne Hotel, the Grand Central Hotel. And El Greco is a hotel too? 1bigfrog 11-12-07, - 10:50 AM I'd rather pitch a tent in da bush than stay at most in that surrounding locale. :driving: :escape: :sailing: with our stray dog problem...I wouldn't advise it. 1bigfrog 11-12-07, - 10:53 AM man they will be the security guard .. :D then what about the Jonesers that live down town... surely its better to stay in these 2 star hotels. Sunnyjohn 11-12-07, - 10:53 AM man they will be the security guard .. :D Dem dogs will be looking our for their own interest. casualobserver 11-12-07, - 11:06 AM There are a number. The ex-Holiday Inn (now Grand Palm) was too hot in the rooms and the lobby. The water pressure in the El Greco is less than what you would get if you peed on yourself, not to mention it's cold water. Unless you are really financially constrained, go to the Hilton BC. Or pitch a tent next to Rory, your choice! :D Lady_chippie 11-12-07, - 11:13 AM man they will be the security guard .. :D LOL.LOL Seagod 11-12-07, - 11:31 AM Why spend the night..take care of youir biz in the morning and leave on the last fight, it will cost you 50 bucks for the ride to and from the airport. I third the motion. :hammer: I've heard though that the line at the embassy starts at 6am. Do they take appointments at the Nassau embassy (so she can be sure to get in in case Bahamas Air plays the fool with that first flight out of FPO)? Shakita 11-14-07, - 10:27 AM Yes they do take appointments but I will call and find out from them. Their website says they return the passports the next day. |
