View Full Version : Why Hillary?
biggy 01-05-08, - 10:55 AM She is and was all of the above. A Political Predator in every sense of the word,no one can match Hillary's deviousness, arrogance, condecension nor need for Government control over every American's life. Much of the same can be said for George Bush as well,he is a true disappointment and has hogtied individual freedoms and rights with his so-called Patriot Act.
Trust me on this,as bad as Bush has been, Hillary will be worse if given the oppurtunity.

I think the people in Iowa know "their people" a bit too closely. I am shocked she came in third- really thought she would at least come in a close second, and Edwards a distant third. But, she was rejected by core America. She is out of this one.
But for Obama, I have to give him credit early as it stands now. He is doing this, without all of those clowns like Jesse and Sharpton, kissing his tail end. Those guys are all on the Clinton bandwagon. This is good. If they all were to remain on the outside of Obama's circle, it would bode well for him at least until he get's into full election swing- in fact, he does not need them at all.
In this move, he would get a better majority of the white voters and, the sensible black voters who actually would like a decent change- so to hell with the power hungry politico's like Sharpton and Jackson.
If I were him, until the primaries were over, I would reject any photo op with any NAACP old guard.
biggy 01-05-08, - 11:31 AM The best thing Obama can do is not accept any backing from either Jackson or especially Al Sharpton. Obama doesn't need their backing, his personality, ability to communicate and track record speak for him. Obama is a political renaissance man, full of hope and ideas. Jackson and Sharpton, especially are negative polarizing forces that Obama does not need.:)
round_robbin 01-05-08, - 12:45 PM Have you seen Obama's Iwoa victory speech? It's on youtube.

He is a great communicator and a charismatic personality. I am not comparing him to JFK,Reagan or Clinton, but they all share those talents. When Obama speaks he makes his audience feel as if he is one of them and all differences are to be put aside.I like the guy and will consider voting for him, even though I am a Republican.

...not american, but I play one on TV.....
Hillary *ALL THE WAY*!!!!
This is not meant as an insult, but if you have a brain, there is *NO OTHER* candidate running for president as we speak. Waco had nothing to do with the Clinton White House. And absolutely nothing compares to the ruination that Reagan, Bush Sr., or Bush Jr., have wrought on not only the US but the planet.
Barack Obama should be no where near the White House. There's nothing worse than a person who wants a job but chastises the very job that he wants. Imagine a lawyer calling lawyers scum to try and prove he's better than lawyers. All politicians are full of shti!!! Hillary shti is more exposed because of her husband.
John Roberts wasn't presidential material in 2004 and will never be. I shall not waste breath referring to the republican candidates. I will move to some slavic country if necessary if a republican stands more than a 20 percent chance of becoming president.
Boy the things you say. Clearly your out of touch on what's going on in American polictics for saying that. Well that's your opinion.
nationbuilder 01-05-08, - 07:14 PM I just don't like her attitude ... :D
No Rory..say it the Bahamian way..."My spirit just dont take to her."
Little Fisherman 01-05-08, - 07:19 PM Hillary and Obama are both losers. I hope they win and make it to the election as Pres/ vice Pres, it will ensure the other party to win. No black man and woman will be president or vice-president of the USA, trust me. World Bank and Big Business will not let it happen.
Little Fisherman 01-05-08, - 08:06 PM the debate is on now

I am not sure about that. Hillary had a shot, until people realized that she did not really represent "change". In fact, voting for Hillary, would almost certainly mean voting for Bill Clinton- I think Americans really and truly don't want that. And besides, that is NOT change and perhaps worse than stagnation. In fact, it seems to be a step backwards.
Obama is the only candidate living the actual slogan of change. Everyone else, even McCain, represents the old DC establishment- just so happens that McCain, has been on the fringe of DC politics due to his seniority and, for the fact that his seat in Arizona is very secure- retiree's really don't like to "change" their representatives continually. Maybe it's because half of Arizonan's are senior citizens and the other half, are either illegal immigrants or black's; both parties are non voting constituents.
So, McCain can run off at the mouth and not face backlash in his home constituency.
But, it looks like a McCain vs Obama presidential showdown. The GREAT thing is that with both candidates, American's win. But, will their allies win? That's a topic for another day.
Ting-um 01-09-08, - 09:18 AM I agree that a vote for Hillary is a vote for Bill Clinton. I don't agree that that is not what Americans want.
...excuse me, I have to laugh at people who quote me and tell me I'm wrong without proving me wrong...
But anyway..
Round Robbin:
Before the 2006 elections, Democrats were being kicked and stomped in every arena. All were afraid and spineless. Republicans did as they pleased. Even after all of the corruption the Republican party saw in 2004 to 2006. What saved the Democrats?? Hillary and Bill Clinton. They were the only people to stand up against conservatives who ran the Republican party. They actively sought conservative arenas to challenge and debate conservatives and crushed them!! So the most feared person on the planet for conservatives is Hillary Clinton because not only did she and her husband ignite the Democratic party, they also ignited the american populace and helped bring about a Democrat controlled Congress. Hillary should focus on republicans rather than fighting Obama or Edwards. That's what propelled her to the front of the polls among *ALL* likely candidates in 2006 and 2007. Fighting Obama makes it a personality contest which she will lose.
Little Fisherman 01-17-08, - 02:21 PM I just read this in the news, and have to admit, I found it funny, not racist
"A Greeley businessman apologized Wednesday after a joke about Illinois Sen. Barack Obama fell flat during the National Western Stock Show's annual Citizen of the West banquet.
William R. Farr was pretending to read telegrams congratulating this year's award recipient, University of Colorado President Hank Brown, when he pulled out a piece of paper and said, "I have a telegram from the White House."
Then he added, "They're going to have to change the name of that building if Obama's elected."
African Queen 01-17-08, - 03:16 PM hitlery oops i meant hillary WILL become the next president of the US. it has been foretold in the bible in Daniel and Revelation.
Rev 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
Rev 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
and guess what happens when she is elected president.....
Rev 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
Rev 17:17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
Rev 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
