View Full Version : Bowleg Residents in The Bahamas
AmericanGal 11-19-07, - 12:41 AM Hey! I live in Miami, Florida but I have family in the Bahamas in Free port, that I'm looking for. Do you know anyone in Free port with the last name of Bowleg? Also, do you know a female named Fredreka? I don't know Fredreka's last name but she lives in Free port. The rest of my family has the last name of Bowleg. I have a relative name Ed Bowleg. Please respond here or email me at wright9@juno.com if you know any! Thanks!
AmericanGal 11-19-07, - 12:45 AM Also, doing research, I saw something to the effect that the Bowlegs in the Bahamas are of Indian ancestry. I am very black so if you know any Bowlegs, please specify their race..

No froggy, I's a white Rolle! However, I love Bahamian history especially when it relates to Andros and spend a lot of time doing online research.

The Bowlegs are descended from Red Bays, the only settlement on the western shore of Andros Island.

Now come on canewry you know I'm a whitey married to a Rolle. Interestingly there are no Rolle's that I have been able to track down in England except those of Bahamian descent.
So if you know me, does that mean I know you as well?
