Did u guys hear about the Chinese chef that was shot last night when leaving work... I didn't get to listen to ZNS for all of the details but apparently they robbed him and then shot him point blank in the chest... Last I heard he was in critical condition... Can any of u shed some light on this? :cutie:

So now they rob you and just shoot you for fun. It's getting better in the Bahamas all the time.

Yup, that's confirmed. My source says he's in stable condition.

Man, that family just opened that place a short while ago.

Something has to give. This town needs to get locked down for Xmas. Our young men will have to sacrifice some of their freedom of movement.

If ya een in da shack or in ya house, stay off da road...or else face getting stopped randomly on the street or at road blocks

I don't mind...I have nothing to hide.

You all have your curfew fun. I don't stay on this island on any given December.

They would get rid of me quicktime because the resulting shakedown of the true troublemakers in this town would involve stepping on "plenty toes".

i have no problem either of random checks for weapons, or let law abiding citizens be able to have weapons. When we can shoo tback some might reconsider their violence and thievery.

Because of our backlogged court system it would seem its the same 100 or so persons committing the vast majority of the crime. they get caught, go before the judge, get sent to FH to await remand, sit for two years because of the backlog and get bail because we need room in FH for a new batch.

If we could get them tried, convicted, sentenced and imprisoned in a timely fashion (instead of a three year wait for a court case while out on bail) we might see a serious reduction in violent crime (house breaking, stabbings, shootings).

Anger management courses, honesty at home/work training, and driver's education/proper licensing for the rest of us might cure the rest of us with our daily petty crime issues.

This crime may start a trend, cause that's not a bad idea.

This is sad, but this kind of thing happens every single day in Nassau.

There is no reason to blame the gun. Trying to regulate firearms even further is only going to remove any protection the victims may have.
