If we can't identify our God, how can we worship him?
Well, we can't really identify him for sure. We think we can and we give him a name, depending on our faith, as you stated below.
The rastas will talk about Jah, The buddhists will talk about Buddha, others will talk about Ala, some will talk about Jesus.
Just a P.S. here. Buddhist do not see the Buddha as a god. We see him as an enlightened being. Generally speaking, he is not worshiped. It is his writings that we try to follow and put into practice. The Buddha is not "here" as Christ is to the Christian.
I think God needs to set the record straight. Unfortunatly, we are on our own, and even if he did try, who would beleive it is really God?
That might be true!

Perhaps you just can't see it Vicky.
or is it you who can't see it??? Who is right the majority (the world is flat) That is why church needs to be separate from state. What is 1 mans salvation is another mans curse. Who is right??
The world is created perfectly, it is constantly changing. Constantly renewing itself. It is us with free will that made everything bad.
There is nothing new under the sun we just discover it
It is almost as if God created the perfect environment and then created perfect beings and put them there to find themselves.
The the perfect beings weren't so perfect were they????
I think that death is our biggest hinderence, if adam were still alive I beleive he would have lots of wisdom to pass on to us.
The problem is there are millions of people going around creating God and destroying humanity. The saddest thing is that God has stepped away and left us to figure it all out by ourselves. There is no central view.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in haven. Not our will.
There are many religions, and you are basically born into one of them. You can spend your whole life researching the religions of the world and still never find God.
If adam were alive he could tell us all about the creator. But i don't doubt for a second that there would be other religions that would oppose what Adam said.
the question should not be what God is, but which religion is the real one.
All religions lead to the Creator 1 way or another. Just that we put to what we can't understand a way for us to understand. Many of us say the other is wrong.
It becomes wrong when we force our faith and the rules of our faith on other that don't choose our faith.

if someone is practising a religion then obviously it has to be real. but if the question is what/who they're worshipping is real, the answer is simple..yes, but it's real in thier minds.

That is right. One's religion is real to the believer. He would hardly be in it if he thought it was false. On the other hand many people drift from religion to religion seeking the truth and never finding it, or perhaps it would be better to say, they never recognize it once found.
Truth is not religion. Religion is but a tool to help one find truth.
