Saw something on the Guardians web site:
'After viewing the devastation in Grand Bahama and other countries in the region ravaged by Frances and Ivan, Prime Minister Manning said Tuesday that "out of evil cometh good."'

So question is, how is something that is created by god considered evil?
Ok I know man turns to evil etc etc, but how can weather be evil.

I wonder how Japan is handling things! We are crying because we have had two hurricanes. Florida is crying because they have had four. Japans has had nine and the tenth one, will hit them soon*. That's ten hurricanes, or Typhoons as they call them. I wonder if they see them as an evil sent from a god! I doubt it. They see them as a natural event - events that one can learn from. If we see ourselves at the mercy of a god then we are at his capricious will.
Japan has survived and survived well because they have and will learn. They will learn to build better. They will learn where not to build. I hope we can learn too but I doubt it. We see it as "God's will."
Hurricanes are not evil or good. They just are! "Out of evil cometh good?" How about, "out of experience comes wisdom."
* Update. Massive Typhoon Tokage hit them on Wednesday 20th. Oct.
15 dead. Before this year the most storms they had in one season was six.
