You may be absolutely correct, but once again I ask. What do the Bahamian peeps of Bimini want?
Our problem here in Abaco is very similar, but the truth is Most Abaconions want the development. None of the small Bahamian resort owners of Guana or the Guana American homeowners want it. At that point it is not a right or wrong issue,it is a Bahamian issue. The majority rules.

You better should believe that Biminites don't want to have this development on their own land. Why is it so hard to understand that those people disagree with Bimini Bay construction? I have lots of friends there, do you think that I would lie
I am nost sure about the situation in Guana Cay, I can't speak on behalf of these people because I don't know them, I have never been in Guana Cay and I haven't had the chance to talk to them. And I assure you that not just Biminites have the negative opinion on Bimini Bay, also tourists, visitors, and even owners of other resorts (also because the environmental issues not just economical) on island have.

Why do you have such an issue understanding that he seems to respect your opinion.but this is to be decided by Bahamians not Foreignors?

Would you like a Foreignor trying to tell your newly formed Eastern European Country how to run it's internal affairs? I may be an American, but I am not one of the "Ugly Americans". :hammer:

Well, no one has to respect my opinion. I am just trying to say my own experience with Biminites and describe the situation in Bimini. Sorry, I am pretty passionate about Bimini issue and want the best for this island since I do love Bimini.

Anyway I would be really glad if someone from outside cared about the environment in my country. Fortunately, people here always stand up for the environmental protection instead of supporting senseless development and buildings of hotels.
