My good friend have been Pruning ,Blowing and cleaning the parking lot for the last 5-6 years and all he asked the boss to pay him WHAT EVER HE CAN AFFORD but the boss says nooo..
The relative who runs the parking lot says the boss will not pay a thing because he is so cheap & the boss don't remember where came from you get what he have now.

:confused: You see their are some good young men out there who are trying to be positive ,godly & law a bidding citizen and this RICH fellow brother don't think NOTHING of the GOOD GESTURE that young man is doing for him. That boss don't know what & how that young man is making it, but do he care OOOH NO...Just today that young man again cleaned that boss parking lot because of the junkanoo goers had it dirty.

Yes I know the boss didn't ASKED this young man to cleaned the parking lot but the parking lot always soo dirty that it makes the lawyer's property looks so bad what the young man is hired to clean.

Folks this is a new year and we need to start to do things the right & positive way in 2008.:bouncy:

OK, he is not actually employed by this land owner. He does what he does off his own bat? Well, if one does that one takes ones chances. I am sure it is very nice of him but the owner is under no obligation to pay him as the work was unsolicited. However, if the owner has allowed him to clean up and not told him to stop then I would think that, long time ago, they should have come to a “meeting of the minds.”

I am sure your friend means the best but give him a tip, don’t do unsolicited work! And surly not for years!!!

I personally don't like when people do something I don't ask them to do, then they have the balls to ask to get paid for it .. they get roll out quick!
Just for the record lots of people broke in this town right now (last 5-6 years actually!), just cause they own a business (car park) doesn't mean they are rich or have the money to spend.
Okay, so tell your friend to stop cleaning the other persons lot if he never asked for it to be done, cause people round this here town dont like to pay you when they ask you to do work, dont expect them to pay you when you were never asked to do the work .. :)


Even if they do have the money ---- your kind PLP friend is doing VOLUNTEER work! The Boss may like the yard 'as is'.... who knows? Perhaps if he gives him/them a chance to see it DIRTY, they may indeed hire him?

I am saying all of this because the boss is come on and act like he care about his bahamian brother & sisters when he asks questions. But it's not so at all.

The boss is ask alot of people why the young fellas is be sooo violent and thing.
what I am telling ya'll on BI that we have some young men out there trying to make a different and his fellow brothers & sisters really don't care about him at all but yet they want him to care for them.
