Its offical OBAMA won the Iowa caucuses...His theme is change...
So i must ask all BI members the questions, who is the Bahamas' OBAMA? Who is the one person on the Bahamian political landscape who inspires the masses like Obama does and is doing in the US? Is that person on the Bahamas political scene now, if so, who?

Too many significant differences in the two political landscapes and personalities to make a substantive comparison I think..

They can vote for *AND* against someone??

...anyway, if you noticed how many votes Huckabee got, close to 30,000, compared to Obama, close to 800 - that should tell you either america wants a more conservative president (which Obama isn't) or that the Iowa caucuses are a joke..

true? wow. the commentators i saw on cable were heralding the idea that so many more democracts voted this time around than republicans. not so? i thought that the overall number of voters was around 240,000 total.
