Seeing that the case will be moved to Nassau, I do not think it is worth their while financially, tickets for witnesses, hotel, meals. Keep that money to spend in 2012.

I don't think that it will be very pleasant for Pleasant if she has to pay the legal fees for Fred Smith and his legal team, especially if they have to travel to Nassau.

What about the several hundred witnesses (voters) who would have to travel to Nassau? Surely the cases would be heard in Freeport...

I still don't see the sense in moving the trial to Nassau. Do you know how much money it is going to cost the Bahamian people to transport 100+ witnesses to Nassau, transport them around Nassau, feed them, house them etc. It just doesn't make sense! Someone please tell me why they decided to do that rather than just have 2 judges and a few staff members travel to Freeport for the trial!

Actually she does not have to pay cost, she avoided having to, once the judges ruled that they were gonna scrutinize the ballots, which was what she was asking the court to do. It's a shame though!
