I lifted this question off the plp website. The admin was MIA and this poor woman NEEDS an answer to her question. She is in a state of confusion and was left out in the cold, or rain, as it were, without an answer.

It is encumbered(sp) upon us fellow Bahamians here on BI to assist her in any way we can.

Pinewood Results
Dear Admin. I am very disappointed and confused with the outcome of the Pinewood case results. If Mr. Woodside won by 64 votes on May 2, and 110 votes were taken out before the recount today, how is it that he won this time by 49 votes? I am wondering if the amount of ballots, in the box match up with the amount of persons who voted on May 2nd after the 110 that were subtracted. Were most of the subtracted ballots Mrs. Gibson's? I am very confused. Admin. please help me out here, something is not adding up.
A strong P.L.P. for life (No Turning Back)
Jan

Jan wants to know if any of the ballots were taken out before the recount yesterday. The machinery of the PLP CONVINCED their supporters that the FNM cheated and now they have left people like Jan who are confused and VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Please find it in you heart to help her understand.

Nice letter. It is a bit confusing- in fact it all is. But, the PLP should go softly on the rest of their cases and, any other issue with this recount.

To me, the point has been made. The electoral process and the integrity thereof, is broken.

This may not end up in an early election. But, it sure warrants some fixing and the FNM government, needs to get on with that.

RR, you seem to be one of their defenders, I am wondering what do you mean by "the PLP should go softly on the rest of the cases...

I have sais before the PLP has no case, they have the right to abuse the court system with their petitions, but yes, I agree with Hubert Ingraham, "it all a PLP game.."

I assume you are a hard core FNM. But, the PLP shoudl rest this pwoer case as they played it wrong. Simply put. They are a step behind on what counts and they need to address that.

However, they need to do what people have been telling them, go an rest their cases as they appear to be naive on what the dynamics of this issue is. Deluded and out of sync.

Byron Woodside lost 61 Votes

1945 (may 2) - 1884 (jan 21) = 61

and

Allyson Maynard Gibson lost 46 votes

1881 (may 2) - 1835 (jan 21) = 46

The other three must have belonged to either Demetrius Frazer or Marvin Williams, the other candidates for Pinewood (or a combination of both)
