Gibson: We Achieved What we Set Out to Do

The following is the statement released by Senator the Hon. Allyson Maynard-Gibson following the recount of the votes in the Pinewood Election Court case.
We are pleased with the historic Judgment handed down by the Election Court on 21st January, 2008. We refer in particular to paragraph 9 of the written judgment as follows:
“The case exposed the most egregious failures in the parliamentary registration system. The Parliamentary Commissioner failed for whatever reason to ensure the integrity of the registration process in Pinewood.”
We have achieved what we set out to do at the beginning of this case. And it is our hope that the flaws in the system will be corrected. It is our hope that the Right Honourable Prime Minister, rather than treating this process as “a game”, will immediately appoint a commission to implement the recommendations of the Election Court expressed in paragraph 12 of the judgment as follows:
“…comprehensively examine the practice and procedures of the Parliamentary Registration Department with a view to ensuring that what we saw in Pinewood does not reoccur because it threatens to undermine the fundamental basis of our Parliamentary Democracy”
I would like to thank the Judges and staff of the Election Court, the attorneys from both sides, my entire support team especially my friends and supporters in the Pinewood Constituency, and my family. With God’s help we will continue to fight against any threat to our democracy.

This is an outright lie. If Allison and crew had achieved what they set out to do there would have been dancing in the streets. They didn't set out to prove that there were flaws in election process. They sent out to convince their supporters and the nation that Allyson was the true victor in Pinewood on May 2nd, 2007, and not Byron Woodside as publicly announced.

Allyson is a tired lying unable-to-accept-her-losses hypocrite desperate for pomp, power and prestige that she does not deserve and the results of the court findings on January 21st, 2008, simply proved to her that she was the wutless greedy loser that they had said she was from May 2nd.

All this crap about achieving what they set out to achieve is merely an example of her blowing hot air into a busted balloon. She needs to go and review her campaign strategies, make a new name for herself and change her filthy all-for-me-baby attitude. Allyson needs to go and COUNT her losses. I hope she keeps COUNTING!
