A Place I call home
The place I call home.......
Caribbean ancestors Blood flows in my vain
The earth they smoked goes to my brain
But there was a change.......
We no longer live in huts or grass houses
Nor do we work on plantations and our....
Speech pattern is a constant native language
We speak a dialect what is refered as broken
And the life of slaves.....
Told through by the remains found in graves
The more i crave to want to know
Which ancestor of my heritage do flow?
show and grow manifested in my family tree
Cherokee, white and blacks lived by the sea
The Place i call home......
Coast is covered with palm trees and beaches
White and pink sand rainbow colored creatures
A spectacular sight look what nature gave us
The history of my people protrayed by dances
Through song, festivals and celebrations
