It seems more and more Bahamian men jus cant man-up and take the consequences.

I am not going to presumme to know what happened, but what could have happened to warrant such a reaction on his part.

Oh my goodness. I'm so sorry to hear about this. It's quite disturbing. But, are they sure this is a suicide? Most people who committ suicide don't set themselves on fire - they usually either do it painlessly and quickly by hanging themselves or a bullet to the head ....OR.....painlessly and slowly by taking pills, slitting their wrists or carbon monoxide. If this is indeed suicide it's quite a special case.I hope they investigate properly and don't just assume.

yeah some people do commit self immolation. probably was hoping his wife or gfriend would stop him and when she did not he just doused himself with gas and set himself alight! RIP dude but that aint the way to go now!

Geeze this is horrid and gives me chills... U really want to die when u douse yourself with gasoline then set yourself on fire... Gosh what in the world was he going through... This is really sad... suicide.. WOW that's deep dread, really really deep!!!

I don't want to sound heartless, but at least he succeeded in killing himself that way, if it was indeed a suicide.

I had a friend that survived the same thing and lived for 10 years totally disfigured and in incredible pain. Scars inches thick covered most of his body (he was naked when he did it) and he burnt off many of his extremities; fingers, toes, willy & nuts, ears, etc.

He finally finished himself off with a shotgun after shooting himself up with heroine a decade later.
