Dese people showin themselves to be silly though, cuz all of them are saying he was neva worth nuthin. One constituent said Kenyatta resigned from Kennedy from long time...lol. But yet dey put on dey yeelow and voted for him.
Thats all the more of an irony. You voted for him though he was "no good". Now you saying he should resign his seat cuz he did a "no good" thing by quitting the party. Well you knowingly voted for a NO-GOOD man in your own words, so you get what you get!

lmaooooooooooooooo have to be a foreigner!! boy that was a joky 5 cents ..i told yall kennedy was one of the MANY areas in New Providence where people voted "party" rather than "person".
what do you guys suggest to individuals who offer themselves up for candidacy to do in a situation where voters are not going to the polls to vote for them per say..but to vote for their particular party? how could this trend be broken? kennedy is one of the many areas if i had to guess i'd say the majority of these seats were party not person.

You are absolutely right about voting party...........Even I voted that way!!
How did you think that the PLP won in 2002 or the FNM in 2007 with all those new people who people did not know.........
How could you vote for a person who was sent to you and you only know what he tells you about himself.....And we know politicians would tell you anything to get your vote and then you don't see most of them after they have been elected!!!

This why ignorance is a ***** and you confrim your stupidity by what you said you did, don't you understand that's how persons own you.
When you vote party bascially you are just giving someone else oppion of that canidate where as vote on the individual you get what you voted for.
Don't worry there is allot of persons like your self who don't have a mind of there own and that is play apart in why you'll so head strong on that party any party for that matter.
Listerning to those people on 5cents shows that we have allot of ignorant persons out there who really don't understand the electoral process and just go on what other's say,or do.

Hah. As "wutless" and as absent as he was, the FNM candidate had to be 100000000 X's as wutless.
The FNM should have put up a better candidate.
:)

:shaky: not this morning Nation, not this morning :shaky:
round_robbin 01-29-08, - 10:06 AM From what I remember in Kennedy, especially moving from the tip of East Street, before you reach the Anglican church, Holy Cross I think, Kennedy residents, have a good reason to vote sensibly.
Did you ever take a look at some of those houses in Kennedy, before you reach Nassau Village?
BJ Nottage, as a PLP and the PLP in general, has been good to them. Not saying that this Gibson fellow was a great PLP. In fact, he is wutless. But, this is what has people upset- he represented ideals that they want in a community leader.
K. Gibson flat out lied. Anyone can lie. You lie every day, by hiding behind pseudonyms, nationbuilder and Facts_Only, when spreading your vitriolic anger out in the public, against Bahamian men and the PLP. So, shut up both of you as you can't speak.
However, if the FNM had a better candidate, maybe he would have won. The FNM candidate just sucked more than the PLPs candidate and that is the truth. Because if the FNM candidate was "it" they -the people of Kennedy- would have voted for him.

So what do you suggest candidates do to break this trend because it just ain't kennedy who voted party its a list of areas.
