Last year I paid $120.00, waited at the US Passport Office and got it in the same day.
An interesting thing happened to a good friend of mine last week. A new law,he couldn't get a US passport renewal,because he owed a balance on his child support.Sounds like a good idea aye? BUT,it was a 18year old judgement setup as a payment system by the Court and he had never been late on a payment. A blanket law to force Deadbeat Dads into paying but a good Dad got caught up in it. Oh Well!:)

but when da judge does garnish wages in da Bahamas da chirren only does get $10-30 dollars.

I had a friends whose dad (divorced form her mum had one of his outside chirren's mummys take him to court after he BEGGED her to doso.

He knew the judge would say "$15 a week" so he could get her off his back!
