Yahooey 02-02-08, - 12:08 AM i vote obama with ron paul as vp as long as rp goes independent! :hammer::hammer::hammer: chancellor 02-02-08, - 12:51 AM If Hillary wins, the Democrats are not getting into the White House. If Hillary is not the first choince, it's no choice. And they cant go into the general elections with just half the Democratic vote, because the former Edwards supporters will not join Hillary. Kareem Lumumba 02-02-08, - 01:35 AM Since I am not part of the Mass delusion sweeping our black nation viewing America Politics through BLACK FILTERED LENS, just let me say, Madame President, Hillary Clinton. To vote otherwise, on the OBAMA winds of change where change is defined only as a Black skin in the white house and not a change in gender -female, plays into the hands of the Republican party and four or eight more years of Republican occupation of the US White House. Something even the delusional black masses in America can ill afford. :hammer: It is America after all!! In these heady days of change American's are notorious for voting against their own economic interests, any idiot could see that to vote Bush back into office for a second term was not in the interest of middle class Americans; they did it anyway! :hammer:Today, they are on the precipice of economic collapse and the real destruction of the American dream and middle Class. I recall seeing on CNN lots of so call black conservative Republicans voting against their own economic interests. If, they knew then what we know now, would they be screaming Bush Cheney 04? SpamStopper 02-02-08, - 01:55 AM Giliami seer 02-02-08, - 09:17 AM If Obama wins the nomination = a Democrat in the white house If Hillary wins the nomination = a toss up. the thinking is that she will energize the republican base and they will come out in droves and support their republican nominee. the Republicans sees the Clintons as pure evil... Whether you like Hillary or Obama, we will be watching history in the making Sunnyjohn 02-02-08, - 12:29 PM If Obama wins the nomination = a Democrat in the white house If Hillary wins the nomination = a toss up. the thinking is that she will energize the republican base and they will come out in droves and support their republican nominee. the Republicans sees the Clintons as pure evil... Whether you like Hillary or Obama, we will be watching history in the making IMHO, Hilary would cost the Democrats the White House. She is too polarizing a figure. Up against John McCain (who the public like, but cusses his Senate buddies to pieces, LOL) she will have a heck of a fight. I'D have a hard time NOT voting for McCain if he was up against Clinton. McCain is a hard head and I ceratinly don'tagree with him on the war in Iraq, but at least he is willing to work together on other issues and apologize after he cusses you to pieces! :p Obama gets my vote. So does Richardson or Sibleus. canesfins 02-02-08, - 12:32 PM If Obama is the next president, the bahamas and other low tax jurisdicitions will be punished. Sunnyjohn 02-02-08, - 12:39 PM If Obama is the next president, the bahamas and other low tax jurisdicitions will be punished. With the recession in full swing and our people and government intent on spending/wasting money like sea water (eg, half billion to Bahamasair, BEC), we will suffer anyway. But you are right. Obama is not fond of "tax havens". One argument, our financial system is such a broke down mess that the real money has long flown the coop to the Caymans and Panama. canesfins 02-02-08, - 12:43 PM With the recession in full swing and our people and government intent on spending/wasting money like sea water (eg, half billion to Bahamasair, BEC), we will suffer anyway. Panama maybe, but we are no worse off than the Caymans, and many billions of dollars still flow through our islands, we still make significant $ in the fnancial services sector. The Exotic One 02-02-08, - 01:08 PM SERIOUSLY THOUGH DO U GUYS REALLY THINK AMERICA WOULD ELECT A BLACK PRESIDENT?:cutie: CG 02-02-08, - 05:44 PM SERIOUSLY THOUGH DO U GUYS REALLY THINK AMERICA WOULD ELECT A BLACK PRESIDENT?:cutie: But a Black man is high up in the Democratic party - voted there by a number of White people as well as Black - he may win! So much for the “a Black person can’t make it in the US.” |
