That was funny. It makes you think of someone standing up in a room full of men and saying "who's willing to switch from red panties to green panties" - then one man stands up and says "I'm not".

LOL. People are stupid.

Anyway to answer the question, I'm giving up a little bit of stubbornness.

No its more like knowing you sailed half way around something and saying the world is flat.

I don't like green so much and I love red so I will keep the red panties.

NothingI am like Vickie, I have decided not to give up "NOTHING" as well:.. however, I have decided to take on more, I have decided to each day see each person desite my personal views of them, see beyond that and see the Christ the lies within them..

I have also decided to accept my daily responsibilities with courage and good cheer, to accept responsibility for the good that I do and live up to the errors that I make often time unintentially or intentially may do.....

I will also ensure that each and every night before I go to sleep, I will continue to examine my consicnence.. to seek forgiveness of those things that I should have done and did not do and like view seek forgiveness for the things that I have done and should not have done...FOrgiveness first from those I may have cause harm to and then yes forgiveness from God.

For me, I am like St. Paul.. for every day.. the good that I would not... I sometimes find myself doing and the bad that I do not want to, I it so easy to do.. but I hope to seek God's grace and mercy to carry me through my daily journey...

I will pray always.. without ceasing....continue to live just and act justly towards all...Vickie, I seek your support.. despite our obvious differences...I really think through it all we all stive to be good individuals....the best of who we can.....

What I gave up for Lent:

Daily dinners at Graycliffe,

$6 a bottle of water at Atlantis,

$12 hamburgers at Green Parrot

$260 round of golf at Paradise Island

$1.9 million dollar single room condo at Atlantis

the list goes on. I am suffering so.

Daily dinners at Graycliffe

I have yet to eat there...but I heard the food and atmosphere were really nice. One day.

I don't observe Lent, so I'm not giving up anything. But, I enjoy watching people put their beliefs into practice. Good luck!

I don't give up anything, although I will stay away from Grey Goose! :taped2:

I try to be more patient and attend church more during this time.

Also I will read The Purpose Driven Life and hopefully finish it this time.

That's perfect! I think I'll join you in that one. I'd rather take something on than give something up... I'm wondering if I can manage to give up Coca-Cola.
