I had to take a seat the other day when i read in a public newspaper that I will be made to pay Deloitte accounting firm to produce a accurate account of the money spent by a cabinet minister. Am i the only one who see this as a total waste of money that can get more go fast boats or that can actually buiild a descent passport offiice. I mean dont we actually have a government department who handels that.. God Help!!!!

Yet another example of how apathetic Bahamians can be! I notice that you posted this since 2/5/03 and to date there are no replys! However, if you look at some of the other items, replys are not lacking! I sugggest it is the usual case of "if it ain't affecting me direclty, I don't care!" Unfortunatley, it is this very thinking that keeps the Bahamas in the state of "dependence" even after 30 yrs of "independence"! I feel your pain!
