there is rumours flying that condoleezza rice may run as an idependent because that no one pick her for the nomination of the republican party. if she does she will only split the gop votes and the democratics will win.

She would never make it through a week of media scrutiny. In fact, by the time the media has "sacrificed" her agenda- she will revert into hiding, for the rest of her life.

I wonder what Colin Powell would do? He, like Rice, was used by Bush and Cheney- they nearly killed Powell's career, as a credible world diplomat. He has since the primaries started, been talking with all candidates- Democrats and Republicans.

i think ms rice can win because the hardcose gops does not want maccian and she masy be their only hope. consider a rice/ huckabee ticket. especially in the south and midwestersn states.

Rice has the 'smarts' but, she's more of a lurker (sorwee BI-lurker:D ) I agree that she may (wee wee bit of a chance....) have a glimmer of hope in future elections but NOT 2009. On top of that, America would NOT embrace her. Then there's the BUSH baggage.... much too much.

i disagree point she still got good displomacy smart articulate and a very strong woman to handle terroist and bring america back in line and accrept reponselibility. the question is can she bring the economy out of recession and how would she help the caribbean in the world?:hammer:
