View Full Version : Sue Nations For Polluting Earth
TheRealJimmyCurry 02-14-08, - 06:48 AM The world's industrial and G8 nations have destroyed numerous regions (cut down trees, polluted water, air, etc). Now our globe faces uncountable destructive forces.
Smaller and third world nations should unite now under one legal umbrella and sue the industrial nations for $100 Trillion dollars. Then these funds could be used to both try to invest in pollution and environmental cleanup, and sustainable energy!
TheRealJimmyCurry 02-14-08, - 06:51 AM Our children should not foot the bill for air filters, water filters, cleaning the Bahamian beaches and oceans, acid rain, etc! We must act and ask our politicians to suggest the implementation of this law suit to other regional leaders in tandem with our African, South African and certain Asian countries (and Pacific Islanders).
YardManPickney 02-14-08, - 07:03 AM Agreed, though too many countries scared aid will be cut off.

Wat! How long since you been home man? Black smoke, blue smoke you name it ...all spews from far too many vehicle exhausts particularly in Nassau. Vehicles like that would immediatly be taken off the road in the States or Europe! We do our own share of polluting, wat is the number.something well over 200,000 cars in Nassau? For how many people? Our Family Islands are still pretty clean, but GB and Nassau, forget it.
SpamStopper 02-14-08, - 11:06 AM If that were the case, the Bahamas would be bankrupt or in prison. :hammer:

Agreed, we make the largest emmissions in the region. A country of over 300,000 makes more polution than countries of over one to two million. All of them alone would sue us.

We are rated in the top 10 worst countries for emissions.
We have no enforced laws regarding emissions.

So much for the "we are a tiny nation" excuse.
We certainly don't act like one.

My Bad, I was told it was the top 10, but I have no sources to back that up. Found this though, it has us at 140. Dont know how recent it is though. Sometimes it feels like we are number one though. *cough cough*

chancellor 02-14-08, - 04:14 PM Well we all know if we ranked the Islands in this country seperately, we would know who comes first.
casualobserver 02-14-08, - 04:30 PM this is a silly thread.
All it does is make a bunch of lawyers rich by filing international class action lawsuits.

How's that Maoist enlightenment coming? Moving any better than yer vanguard?
I am just reading a new book about you. It is called Kaplan & Sadock's Comprehensive Textbook of Psychiatry (2 Volume Set). You should read it.
Your friend

praetor 02-14-08, - 05:36 PM You guys call it dangerous emissions, but I call it progress and modernization!
Why dont you all fly on Haiti Air and take a trip to Life Buoy Lane. They can't afford cars there, so you tree-hugging hippies will probably enjoy it.
Get with the program, moonbats. The human race is a virus and we're destined to survive only as long as the resources do.
I don't care if some other guy's kids have to breathe with CO2 in their lungs. Any kids of mine should be smart enough to backstab and finagle his/her way to the top.
If they aren't smart enough to do that, then Darwin explicitly states that they should choke.
And so praetor gave his only begotten son...
