Last week Friday around 6/6:30 p.m. I took an out of town friend to take some pics. at the 66 steps! Low and behold as we jumped out of my trans ... there on the hill are about 10 Haitian men each with a Pitbull Dog on a leech. Terrified, I was heading back to my car; but my friend urged me out.

The men and dogs looked horrified too! They looked scared at the fact that I was so frightened. Has anyone else witnessed this scene? And, what's that all about? Is it legal? WHAT in da werl is going on? :confused:

I hate pitbulls. I think they should be illegal. In fact, in most parts of Europe, they are banned.

When I was younger, and lived in the inner NY city, I always took a knife for fear of loose dogs. Never was attacked but, I see what they do to people.

antyway he does hire one pile of foreigners to train them guard dogs - may have been that

We tried to COMMUNICATE to each other! That's how I know. They hardly spoke english (well, I didn't hear all of them speak but the few that tried were HAITIAN) the others had that BLANK look that you get from folk who can't speak your language or that YOU have when you can't speak theirs!!!

What does it matter... helps me paint the right picture for YOU (Not as in "B-Pride") but YOU; the readers.

Probably organizing their K-9 units for when they launch their guerrilla war against the unsuspecting masses.


How deviantly clever of them. Invade the country by stealth and then when they unleash their terror, they'll use the dogs to hunt down Bahamians who are in hiding.

As a owner of a Pit bull (Red nose) you cannot find a more loving dog, it is all in how they are raised. The only time he is out is for a trip to the vet other than that he is in my fenced in yard or inside.
I will say though that they do not like children and extra caution should be taken when they are around.

As a owner of a Pit bull (Red nose) you cannot find a more loving dog, it is all in how they are raised. The only time mine is out is for a trip to the vet or the beach (on a leash) other than that he is in my fenced in yard or inside.
I will say though that they do not like children and extra caution should be taken when they are around.
No-one should be allowed to own a dog unless they have a fenced in yard or can prove that they can take care of them

I actually love Bill Watterson's work on Calvin and Hobbes. They were the smartest and funniest Sunday comics IMO. They were real characters you could empathize with, even though Calvin was a seven-year old and hobbes was a stuffed tiger.


It was a sad day when CNN announced that Bill was retiring.
