According to Grand Bahama police up to present time they have no information on this.. they believe it maybe a prank... however they have all units on alert....

The rumour is that it is a Western Airline that went down...about 6:00 pm

But I am told that the Police has absolutely no information up to present time, that is 10:26 pm...

If it's only rumour that's good and bad! Good, all's well, not tragedy! Bad cuz, this is no kind of prank to be playing...

Freeport harbour control there is no report of a plane going down,but in eight mile rock there were some people gather i hope it isn't true.

and alerted Basra who in turn informed the emergeny agencies! however checks were made and it was determined that THERE IS NO PLANE CRASH!!

There were rumors of a plane crash, first they said Bahamas Air, then American Airlines and eventually it seemed that somebody's boat caught fire. Could it be that???

Bahamas currently has one of the safest airline operations in the world. Not sayin accidents will not happen or have not happened, just sayin its one of the safest for real. Bahamas Air, ofcourse.
