You right about that can't get in Mcdonalds and Wendys during lunch hours..scary thing..i haven't had beef for a while..but i'll email this to people i know eating wendys and mcdonalds everyday

Afta reading and listening to all of this,it seems that because employees at this particular company were both torturing and slaughtering cattle that were then sent on for human consumption,there is a ban on their products. Going back for two years! It appears more of an immediate punitive action by the FDA than a real health concern. There have been no reported illness of any person eating any of this beef.:confused:

One may not know for 10-15 years if they have the decease or not. It takes a long time and there are no initial tests for it apparently.

Yes they have many customers, but I mentioned beef patties as IMO more of those are sold on a daily basis in Nassau. Every little juk juk store sells them by the ton, not to mention all the gas stations. SpamStopper wont lie, he likes a nice hot beef pattie every now and them :) (that mussee ga change now hey!)

Our beef generally comes from the East coast or Texas so this would not effect the Bahamian market. It is a shame that we as a country are so reliant upon the USDA. We take their word on EVERYTHING even going as far as not allowing imports from countries that the USDA has Banned, most of which are for ECONOMIC reasons(to protect the AMERICAN farmer), therefore we are loosing out because we cannot import items from countries that have perfectly fine commodities but for the fact that they undercut the U.S farmer.
