Ok Then prove one case where it is not a society driven desire to change from GLBT to str8..

I need a research lab, a study group and some funds...would you like to support my research so I can prove it?

Lets see if I can help you as far as looking to wnat to change. I did in my younger life but for no other reason than societies pressure to fit in the so called normal place... Do you know what I found at the age of 35? I found this is my normal... I found that its other peoples ignorance that caused my pain.

Vicky, this is NOT about you, please get over yourself, your story is so old. It's about gays turning straight....not everyone went through what you did.

The same ignorance that had most of the people believing the world was flat.. The same ignorance that murdered millions in the name of God the Creator christians being the worst offender that I know of...
You see some how christians believe they are never mistaken...
You say you find it interesting that there are gay men out there that want to change and be str8....
Yet in the same breath you will deny the biggest reason why....

It may be one reason why but it certainly is not the only reason why they turning straight. You are in denial you can't believe for a minute that some gays may say "You know what this life is not for me" so you have to in turn blame it on society, but you what you can't help it because that's how you were trained...if anyone come up against you start casting blame "It was my mother, my father, my pastor, my teacher, my dog Skippy". Whatever it takes to focus off of your decision...anyway, I don't want to take this down the "Homosexaulity in High Places" thread.

Winter I am saying you are proving nothing here. You are saying gays are changing. We ask why do you think they feel the need to change change?

It's their CHOICE to change, they don't like being gay anymore...why don't you ask one...they are there you know :cutie:

Do I impose my views in anyway onto you other than to [B]counter your derogatory viewpointsyes you do in every way even unprovoked, and when the firestorm singe your clat you holla "religion"your personal views is not about religion or morality but merely about a lower lifestlye that you xpect heterosexuals 2 xcept, your offerins are refuse point blank,if you were my neighbor you should respeck the community and cease 4rom throwin :fly: stones and hide-in your hands and then remindin us 2 adhere 2 a religious code, when you breakin the rules and tryin 2 get-away,now that you're found-out you get dealt with on the spot, no conference no questions asked and that's real cause we roll like that.:hammer:

Either you get it or you dont.
Whether or not you are gay or agree with what you consider the "gay lifestyle" i believe that people of intelligence can tell when you are treating another human being with respect and integrity.
These conversations are long winded and they repeat the same points over and over because we are on two different pages entirely. But the insults, disrespect, and the "forcing your viewpoints onto others" are strong traits seemingly inherent in the arguments of the "anti homo" group.
What i would want. Freedom to be an adult and make my own choices without hearing from you why I am "corrupt" "antigod" "sinner" "chooser of a deviant lifestyle" "curable" "unwanted in my home country".... the list goes on.......
What you want/say:
And i always ask this? Did you learn this behavior in church? Is this treating your neighbor as you would have them treat you?
What has the LBGT adult living their life freely and respectably done to you? Do you see me insulting your religion (I may question your adherence to it or its propensity to create more people like you)? Do I insult your gender? Do I insult your race, your ethnicity, your culture? Do I impose my views in anyway onto you other than to counter your derogatory viewpoints of LBGT.
The right side of morality is so clear to me. I’m comfortable with my position.

spaks flying everywhere you hit that nail so hard..:hammer: :hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

Nothing to prove holmes, we all know what you're born with & the same science you like to use taught you the use of each body member.

That which is between your legs is not your identity nor does it control ones sexual orientation...

Dr Money proved that when his experiment with the twins went wrong.

I have never blamed anyone for what I am. If you think that you are very wrong..
I do blame society for the pain and guilt I lived with in the past. I blame society for making my family ashamed and fearful for who I am their safety and my safety....

I think its very difficullt for hetereosexuals to understand what pressures we as GLBT go through. Hence the back and forth of this conversation......Imagine a life when everytime you step out of your house youre in fear of being assaulted just because your "different."
Imagine the pressure of family to some extent force you to change........I cannot say why these gays that Winter is referring to turn str8.....i can only speak of what i see here in the Bahamas.

LOLOLOL yea it shows me ya'll grasping at straws to prove a weak point.

No we are trying to help you understand. But I am beginning to think you don't want to.
would you ask a (Lets say) someone from France who has never been to the Bahamas about the Bahamas or should you ask a Bahamian living in the Bahamas about the Bahamas?

Example I have been invited to a conference in Jamaica as a RAB rep.. Now I called a woman who used to work for me on and off who is Jamaican. I asked her if someone like me could come to Jamaica. She said she also asked some of her friends down there. She said as long as people think you are a woman you would be ok. But if they even think you might be different they will push to find out so don't go she said please don't go.
I could have asked someone from France but do you think the info would be right??

There are GLBT her telling you the info you have is wrong but you choose to believe other wise. Why????

Special laws????......no one's looking for special laws.....just whats fair and right........we can sit here and argue all day about how u feel about GLBT but that has proven countless times to be a waste of time......Fact is at the end of the day we are all human and all deserve EQUAL rights.......whether i choose to wear a ballgown or a tuxedo.....you speak of choices??? u think most people would wanna choose to be gay....especially in the bahamas???
