A 16-year-old Argentine girl has given birth to female triplets - for the second time.

The girl, named only as Pamela, had her first set of female triplets aged 15, having first given birth to a son when she was just 14.

All seven children were born prematurely but without any kind of fertility treatment.

Why? Oh Why? 7 kids by the age of 16! What kind of future does she have?

That is a shame. Unless she passionately enjoys motherhood, she will never have the oppurtunity to live a well rounded life.

I read that this morning, the young girl should have been neutered after the first set of triplets at 14

Pamela's mother, who cleans houses to support her daughter and rapidly increasing number of grandchildren, says they will now seek more assistance from the government for the new additions to the family.

Am I the only person sickened by this?

I just realise something .......she does have baby every year...age 14, 15 and now 16...

I know somebody in one of the settlements in my home town (Andros) that had babies every year for a couple of years but she only had ONE, AT A TIME.....

We have to be honest we gat plenty 16 years olds home with children...maybe not seven but children all the same

While riding with a friend, I caught a bit of a radio talk show. I think it was on Love 97, but I'm not certain. They were doing polls on police in schools and gambling. A woman called in to participate in the poll and added that people between 12 and 18 who have children should have their tubes tied. I thought it was quite an interesting idea, to say the least.

Why should a young girl, who is really not mature enough to know what she is doing be penalised for something that may not be her fault (rape, unlawful sexual intercourse, incest) Maybe if more men who impregnated young girls were charged, prosecuted and convicted there would be less of it happening. Is a quick romp in the hay worth 7 years of ones life?

The problem is that while she may not be a 'fresh' girl, the people in her life are not protecting her as they ought. She's at risk, and that risk creates teenage mothers, like the girl with the seven children. How her mother allowed a second and then third pregnancy is beyond me. The issue with predators not being incarcerated only heightens that risk.
