I was at the scene shortly after the accident happened. It is really bold of them to try that, because there were so many people arround who could identify them.
But, as it goes the same people who could tell you play for play how the accident happened because they witnessed it, would miraculously not know anything about the gun being stolen.
The old " I saw the whole thing happen, I saw when his head hit the jitney, and he flip over the handlebars. But I een see nobody take his gun. I eeen know nothing about dat," routine.
