The other day I passed the area of CoB and CC Sweetings school, and noticed that there is a large amount of vacant property in that area. I am aware that CoB has property way out Glandstone Road, where they plan to create a housing project. My concern is, what about all them vacant property near and around Oakes Field? Who owns them? How come CoB did not sort to purchase them...Morethanlikely they did. But I wonder how come they didn't acquired it. I mean Glandstone Road kind of far from the College, especially when there are so much 'available' land in that area? I don't think anyone has asked this question before or in fact received a suitable answer. I see that entire area of Oakes field as a type of College Town. In fact, even the Department of Statistics/post office/licensing building should be sold to CoB. I am not sure if anyone thought of this bigger picture.
